Rote learning focuses on memorizing facts through repetition without understanding the meaning of the concept. By rote learning you can learn everything for short-term but it will decrease the student potential and creativity. Lacking true conceptual understanding, they struggle to apply knowledge creatively, retain information long-term, develop higher-order thinking beyond what's memorized, or demonstrate comprehension on exams.
